A riding community wouldn’t be complete without an active group of enthusiasts who meet regularly to ambassador the sport at every turn.
Founded in 2010, Steamboat Velo was born from Colorado’s only pro-amateur road stage race. Riders of all abilities are welcomed and encouraged to participate in a plethora of events including road cycling, trail riding, cyclocross, and just about anything else that involves two wheels. Supporting local racers and educating the biking community as a whole is the goal of Steamboat Velo.
The group meets regularly for group rides, racing and nutrition support, technical equipment guidance, and offers other race event benefits.
