Steamboat Ski and Bike Kare
With locations downtown on the corner of 5th Street and Lincoln Avenue and at the Steamboat Ski Area, Steamboat Ski and Bike Kare offers equipment for riding any season, with top ski and bike brands. A former Jackson, Wyoming native, owner Harry Martin understands mountain towns and service—with his team earning ‘Best of the Boat’ honors the last two years. Orange Peel Bicycle Service
Founded in 1999, this funky Yampa Street Icon dubbed the “Cone” has a long cycling history, as former home of Sore Saddle Cyclery and Moots Cycles. Today, you’ll find the same character, top products, and awesome service led by former U.S. elite racer and owner Brock Webster. Orange Peel is Steamboat’s only bikes-only bike shop. They carry top cross country and road bikes from such brands as Moots, Salsa, BMC, Ellsworth and Orbea.

Steamboat Bike Shop
Located adjacent to the promenade and just steps away from the Steamboat Bike Park Gondola, the Steamboat Bike Shop is the most convenient location in town to access the Steamboat Bike Park. Their fleet includes Down Hill mountain bikes from Kona and Specialized with the latest in high performance suspension technology. Each rental includes a full face helmet, shin and elbow pads and bike gloves. Cruiser bikes are also available for your around town needs. Located on at the intersection of US 40 and Pine Grove Road, Ski Haus caters to more than just the two-plank crowd. Wheels is a small, independently owned and operated bike shop located along the Yampa River in Old Town, specializing in tunes and sales. Former competitive rider and owner Chris Johns prides his shop on its friendly customer service and top products. Wheels is also active in the community, supporting organizations such as the Yampa Valley Sustainablity Council and the “Giving Bikes Back” refurbishing and donation program.
